Well we had our first outing to the Gloucestershire Festival of Polo at the Beaufort Polo Club. A little windy, but the sun did make several appearances so the picnics went ahead. Anyone forgetting their picnic rugs could pop over to the Tripster stand to bag themselves a beautiful, traditional wool picnic blanket. Cashmere wraps proved really popular in the unsettled weather, and we sold right out of the blush and oatmeal colourways. In fact so fast, we haven't even got the blush wraps on the site yet! With a few more exhibitions to go and the rest of the summer reaching ahead - we'll get some more ready!
The Nyetimber Green bus was on site to supply loads of wonderful sparkling English wine - glad we had our throws on hand to help against the chill and luckily the tea green co-ordinated with the fabulously converted Routemaster bus.
Prince William popped in to play some polo on the Sunday and stuck around to do the trophy presentations.
If you've never been to the Polo before - it's a fantastic day out. Just bring along a picnic and enjoy the British summer.
